Wonder Man is finally appearing in a live-action series thanks to Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest, according to reports from The Hollywood Reporter. Guest will serve as head writer and executive producer on the Marvel Cinematic Universe project, with Cretton developing the series. In addition, he will write and possibly direct episodes for the show, as he’s currently under an overall deal with Marvel Studios. Excluding his role as the creator of the Wonder Man series, Cretton is also working on the sequel to Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, which he is set to write and direct....

Some old movies from TV are coming back on DVD. In a story from Fangoria, it appears that a new company called Wild Eye Releasing is in town. They came on the scene last month with Maneaters Are Loose! This is a 1978 TV tale about tigers on the prowl in suburbia. In addition to that they released the 1976 open water thriller Shark Kill. The Otago Daily Times reports that Queenstown, New Zealand may be preparing itself for Hollywood fever as filming for Hollywood blockbuster X-Men Origins: Wolverine nears, but one group of Queenstown residents has been left high and, quite literally, dry, with the production studio renting the Queenstown Fun Centre.
