Writer Marti Noxon told Sci Fi Wire that she’s now working on rewriting a script idea sparked by director Sam Raimi and his brother Ivan, who co-wrote Spider-Man 3. Tentatively titled The Curse, the story includes doctors, monsters, mental patients and a witch, Noxon said in an interview. The film mixes Evil Dead and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, added Noxon, who served as executive producer of Buffy during its final run on UPN....
The first trailer for Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men has dropped ahead of the Sundance premiere this weekend. The four-part docuseries was just picked up by Showtime last week and it promises to tell the whole history of the legendary hip hop group. According to DVD Town, it appears that Warner Bros. may be planning The Dark Knight’s Blu-Ray version with BD Live features. Spanish actor Álex González has joined the cast of X-Men: First Class, portraying Janos Quested a.k.a Riptide, according to Comic Book Movie. Fotogramas.es had the original news, which indicated he would play a mutant dubbed Tornado, although Comic Book Movie received an update that revealed Álex González would, in fact, be playing Riptide. Chandor’s Margin Call, Zachary Quinto’s Before The Door Pictures has announced the company’s second feature project, an “untitled found-footage” romantic comedy.
