During last night’s coverage of the World Series on Fox, the network released a new 20-second trailer for The X-Files, which features a few interesting revelations. For one, the footage shows that Mulder and Scully (David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson) are reaching out to Skinner (Mitch Pileggi) for help, even though they still don’t fully trust him. The trailer also features a new glimpse at an alien creature, likely the first of many that will be revealed in this new season....

Sad news for its huge fanbase, but Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist has been canceled by NBC. The series, which maintains a passionate fanbase, will not move forward at the network following its season 2 finale. It has also been confirmed that NBCUniversal’s streaming service Peacock will not be picking the show up for season 3. Be that as it may, the show’s creator, as well as studio Lionsgate, are hoping to find a new home for the show elsewhere....

David E. Kelley had high hopes for his TV reboot of Wonder Woman, having recently finished the pilot script. But the project is indefinitely postponed, as all of the major networks have passed on the project. Sources say that Wonder Woman’s failure to take flight is a matter of poor timing. Kelley intended to do a contemporary take on the popular DC Comics heroine for Warner Bros. TV. The pilot script was shopped around on Wednesday, with Fox and ABC passing on the series almost immediately....

Wonka star Keegan-Michael Key has heaped praise on his co-star Timothée Chalamet and his portrayal of Willy Wonka during his early years. Speaking with THR, Key had nothing but nice things to say about Chalamet, describing his “wonderful effortlessness” in playing the iconic character before calling the young actor a “really delicious artist.” Which sounds like the perfect combination for someone playing the chocolate-loving Wonka. As well as applauding the central performance of Chalamet, Key went on to tease the musical numbers that will feature in Wonka, revealing that, while he only has a handful, Chalamet will be testing his vocal skills many times over....

It’s been six years since Warcraft released its feature film debut, directed by Duncan Jones. The 2016 movie was produced on a $160 million budget and brought in only $47 million domestically, but the movie raked in an impressive $391 million internationally. While critics mostly panned the over-produced big-budget video game adaptation, audiences were more forgiving, hopeful it would be the start of a multi-film franchise. Warcraft as a cinematic property holds a lot of promise for fantasy genre movie fans....

Horror films have made many stories surrounding the supernatural creatures that plague imaginations. The supernatural genre has a great many successful movies, one of which is The Mothman Prophecies. The 2002 film directed by Mark Pellington had mixed reviews when released, but ultimately became a cult classic. The supernatural mystery only received a 52% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but 86% of Google users have liked the film. This film was liked because of the real legend that sprouted the terrifying creature, the suspense, and the unsettling atmosphere leaving audiences chilled to the bone....
