The first teaser trailer for the new Disney+ series Willow premiered recently, opening Disney’s Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim. The high fantasy series comes from a movie that George Lucas helped create in 1988. When Willow (1988) came out, many people believed it would do the same thing for fantasy that Star Wars had done for science fiction. Unfortunately, the movie did not reach the same heights of critical acclaim that Star Wars had and retreated quietly into a realm of unique ’80s fantasy films....

I just got off the phone with producer Nicholas Tabarrok for the upcoming DVD release of Defendor, which hits the shelves on April 13.
