After months of internal discussions, Apple TV+ will release the Will Smith movie Emancipation in December. As the film had been wrapped before Smith’s Academy Awards controversy, there had been reports of Emancipation getting delayed to 2023 to allow time for the backlash against the King Richard actor to wade. Though Smith did lose some fans over the incident, others have been willing to forgive the actor for the scandal which saw him smacking and screaming at Chris Rock while on live television....

Wonder Woman has been put on the back burner in light of the upcoming Justice League of America movie, according to Joel Silver, who was producing the film. Silver told Sci Fi Wire “They’re going to make the Justice League of America movie, and we’re kind of pausing on Wonder Woman now.” This move comes despite the fact that the film projects for both Flash and Green Lantern are moving forward....

Earlier this month, AMC released a special tribute video honoring David Morrissey’s deceased character The Governor on The Walking Dead. This villainous dictator met his demise in the mid-season finale, “Too Far Gone”… But is he really dead? When asked if The Governor is gone forever, the actor gave a surprisingly cryptic response in a recent interview. Executive producer Gale Anne Hurd has previously confirmed that The Governor is dead, with a headshot that ensured he won’t come back as a walker....

The drama film Women Talking is likely to be among this year’s best movie releases. Making its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival in early September followed by a screening at the Toronto International Film Festival, this is the fourth feature film directed by Sarah Polley, who also served as writer. Polley directs an all-star cast featuring Rooney Mara, Claire Foy, Jessie Buckley, and Frances McDormand, among many other performers....

Producer Bryan Singer confirmed earlier today that the sequel to X-Men: First Class will be called X-Men: Days of Future Past. Here’s what he had to say about the highly-anticipated superhero follow-up. The Days of Future Past story line from the Marvel comic books deals with the idea of an alternate future, where mutants are hunted down by Sentinels, after the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants killed an important Senator. When asked if the sequel may cross over into past X-Men movies, the producer revealed they plan on expanding this universe....

The Duttons have hooked viewers on Yellowstone since its first season. And it’s not hard to see why.
