Irish publication Belfast Telegraph recently spoke with actor Liam Neeson, who confirmed that Wrath of the Titans is the new title for the Clash of the Titans sequel. Liam Neeson will reprise his role as Zeus. He said that the script for this mythological adventure is still being worked on, although they will start shooting next March: The actor added that he didn’t know if the movie was going to be shot in 3D, although our report from July indicated they will shoot in 3D, as opposed to the maligned post-production conversion process which was used on Clash of the Titans....

The process of creating the The Lord Of The Rings: Fellowship of The Ring prequel has gotten under way. A scooper wrote in to TheOneRing.net with word that the Guillermo del Toro has begun writing the script for The Hobbit. Universal has been developing a big screen adaptation of the smash hit musical Wicked since 2004, the year after the Wizard of Oz based show made its debut on Broadway, but now it looks like filming has been pushed back yet again, as the movie now looks to completely shift production from Atlanta, Georgia, to the U.K. when it finally gets underway next year. Considering how long the movie has been in development, it is hard to believe that the script is still not complete, and this latest hitch in production means that filming will now move from March to June next year, when its relocation will see Wicked become the first movie filmed at Universal-owned Sky Studios in Elstree....

The long gestating big screen adaptation of Sid & Marty Krofft’s Saturday morning live-action TV series Land of the Lost has finally gotten the go-ahead at Universal. According to Variety, the Will Ferrell project will star shooting this March. The plot of the original show revolved around Marshal, Will, and Holly, a family on a routine expedition in the mountains. There, they encountered the greatest earthquake ever known. In a cave, battling rapids, the earthquake struck their tiny raft....

The Walking Dead Season 9 preview as well as the Talking Dead will have Yvette Nicole Brown taking over hosting duties while Chris Hardwick is under investigation by AMC.
