In 2000, Disney released The Emperor’s New Groove, an animated feature film that would succeed in its storytelling and humor. The movie would go on to cause a spinoff film, Kronk’s New Groove, and a Disney Channel original series, The Emperor’s New School. The Emperor’s New Groove follows Emperor Kuzco, a spoiled young man who knows nothing of the genuine hardships people face every day. The newest psychological horror flick from director Christopher Smith stars Jena Malone as Grace, a self-proclaimed atheist investigating the death of her brother. Following her brother’s alleged suicide, she finds herself at a remote Scottish convent where her brother once resided as a priest. While the nuns at the convent tell Grace he jumped from the nearby cliffs willingly, she believes otherwise.
