Yellowjackets Season 2 to Push Boundaries, Explore Darker Stories
Showtime
Season 2 of Yellowjackets is set to be even wilder than the first. Ashley Lyle, co-creator of the show, shared in an interview that the upcoming season will allow them to push boundaries and explore “darker” stories. Lyle revealed that the plan with this show was to make a series about “the best and the worst that people are capable of.”
The series was created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, who also serve as showrunners/executive producers alongside Jonathan Lisco. The second season of Yellowjackets will premiere on Friday, March 24.
“I think that we’re just so excited to keep playing in this world. There are a lot of opportunities where we’re going and where we’ve been planning to go get darker and get weirder. We’ll likely get a lot more of both of those things but hopefully we can keep it fun.”
