Penn Badgley is back, and he has a brand-new identity in the latest look at You Season 4. Released via Twitter alongside the first teaser for the upcoming series of the hit Netflix stalker show, the new poster teases Joe Goldberg’s transformation into Professor Jonathan Moore as well as promising “a bloody good time.” You can check out the poster for You Season 4 below.
Sporting a glorious beard and a three-piece suit with a splash of tweed, Joe Goldberg is looking every bit the professor as he pours himself a lovely cup of tea. Well, it appears to be so at first, but on closer inspection, the serial killer is, in fact, pouring himself a cup of the claret — a slang term for blood that well suits the setting for You Season 4, which finds Joe carving out a new life in London.

Produced by Warner Horizon Television, in association with Alloy Entertainment and A&E Studios, the first season of You is based on the 2014 novel by Caroline Kepnes, and follows Penn Badgely as Joe Goldberg, a bookstore manager in New York, who falls in love with an aspiring writer. What begins as an immature crush quickly escalates into toxic infatuation as Joe reveals himself to be a serial killer with an affinity for extreme obsession.
You Season 2 begins a trend that has seen every new season reinvent itself, taking Joe to Los Angeles and changing his name to Will Bettelheim at the same time as the show itself moved from Lifetime to Netflix. The second season sees Joe attempt to change his ways. Unfortunately, his best efforts do not last long, with Joe falling into old habits after falling in love with avid chef Love Quinn.
The latest season of You finds Joe struggling as a husband and father and living in a suburban Californian town. Of course, obsession and murder soon rear their ugly heads, with the third season ending with Joe escaping to Paris in search of the latest object of his sinister obsession, Marienne.
You Season 4 Will Take Place Largely in London

While the final moments of You Season 3 us all to believe that the fourth season would move things to Paris, Joe and his serial killings will instead be relocated to London, where Joe is now working and living as Professor Jonathan Moore. With a beard.
Not much else is yet known about what You Season 4 will involve specifically, but the recent teaser has revealed that Tati Gabrielle will reprise the role of Marianne. Though how long she will last, considering Joe is back in her life, remains to be seen. You Season 4 will introduce such new characters as Nadia (Amy-Leigh Hickman) and Kate (Charlotte Ritchie), who will no doubt fall into Joe’s trap, alongside Ed Speleers as Rhys, Tilly Keeper as Lady Phoebe, Lukas Gage as Adam, Niccy Lin as Sophie, Aidan Cheng as Simon, Eve Austin as Gemma, Ozioma Whenu as Blessing, and Dario Coates as Connie.
Part 1 of You Season 4 is now scheduled to land on Netflix on February 10, with Part 2 debuting on March 10, 2023.
